Butterdome
I’ve caught up with the last of my recent pictures, but I’ve got a huge backlog of photos to work through to add photos to flickr. I’m sure I’m missing a lot of pretty decent shots.
This is the University of Alberta Pavilion – or Butterdome as it is called around here. It’s a very yellow building, which makes it stand out very well.

Blur, originally uploaded by Heraldk. Diane gets the credit for this photo. On our way back from Jasper last month we found ourselves in some pretty snowy and windy weather. Diane tried taking some photos from the moving car, and this is the best one of the lot. I think it’s pretty neat, myself.

Nothing Out of the Ordinary Here, originally uploaded by Heraldk. … or is there? This rather cool looking bug was not easy to pick out. Really cool bug. I like how this photo turned out, but I’m disappointed that the stick bug cages were so dirty so I couldn’t get any good photos of those.
